Jawbone: Bluetooth Technology With A Touch Of Style

I was looking for a decent wireless earpiece for my cell phone the other day, and I came across some interesting looking devices I must say. I always see people in the street, at the store, at baseball games, driving down the highway, all wearing some sort of headset that enables them to participate in hands-free conversation on their cell phones. This is good, especially since they outlawed talking while driving in New York State. I am not all too heartbroken by that law, because I drive a stick and it was hard driving while talking anyway. Although I do like the practicality of the earpiece, and find it more and more necessary as I move up in my career (I must be getting so important that they need to bother me on the phone all the time), I really am not a big fan of the standard black/silver combo with the obvious blue light sticking out of my ear. It’s almost as if it screams out “Hey, look at me, I am Bluetooth equipped!”

Anyways, I saw a nice line of Bluetooth enabled earpieces called the Jawbone, and I tell you they look pretty darn sharp. Nice and stylish, sleek, smooth, and that isn’t even its most attractive feature. Along with the superior Bluetooth connectivity to synch up to nearly any cell phone this side of 2005, it has a Voice Activity Sensor, which allows it to detect when a person is speaking to produce crystal clear and very accurate sound. There is also a noise eliminating technology called NoiseAssasin, that helps reduce all of the outside or background noise, ensuring that your conversations are heard on both ends. This would be great for making calls from the car or a large public area such as a mall or convention center. I have irritated my wife more than not when I call her from business trips and can’t even hear her because of the background noise. After answering the kids and repeating herself all day, she really hates it when I ask her to do the same from a phone several hundred miles away.

For total comfort, superior sound quality, and advanced technology, I would rate this as one of the best cell phone accessories around. Great for business or pleasure, you will surely look good when you talk on this bad boy. It is available in a few different styles, so get a few to go with different wardrobes. And with the amazing sound clarity, the person on the other end will definitely thank you.
