Spread Unlimited Power With USB-Chargeable Batteries.

Do you know how many times I change batteries in my house? Remote contols for the TV and DVD player, the guitar for the kids’ Guitar Hero video game, those toys that the kids get for gifts on Christmas and birthdays that never seem to stop. They are all battery hogs that are going to end up putting me in the poorhouse. Who wants to spend tons of money every month on these necessities? On average, a 6 pack of AA batteries, the most common, cost around $7. Multiply that by a zillion different devices that take 2-4 each, and forget about it. I have tried the rechargeable ones, but always end up losing the charger. Or, when we are on vacation, who wants to carry the bulky thing around anyways? With so many things being charged via USB cables lately, I figured there must be some sort of solution. Of course, I found it within two google searches.

These batteries are great because the positive end cap flips off, revealing a USB connector for easy charging. Plug them into your computer and the light will come on, letting you know that the charge process has initiated. Once the light goes off, pop the next one in until you have enough to re-boot your little girl’s talking My Little Pony that sings the same three songs over and over and over and over again! Not that it bothers me, of course. If you are lucky, and have multiple USB ports on your computer, you may even get to charge the entire set at once, cutting down your wait time.

But you don’t have to be a parent trying to quiet their children by keeping their toys running to enjoy the benefits of these batteries. These will come in handy for travelers that like to take digital photos everywhere they go. We all know digital cameras are the worst when it comes to battery life. It drains them in a matter of hours if you use it for a good length of time. Put these batteries in your camera bag, and charge them from your laptop in the hotel. Don’t add extra costs to your vacation budget because of batteries.

I think these are great for a number of reasons. With a large upfront cost of about $20, it pays for itself after a few charges. But just think, piece of mind that you will most likely never have to buy batteries again is a nice feeling. Also, it is convenient. These will dramtically cut down my having to go to the store every time I need to buy batteries, as well as the cursing to myself for finding out I forgot to buy batteries at the very moment when the remotes die on me. And it is always in the middle of the baseball game, when I flip channels on a commercial then frantically try to get back to the game without missing a pitch. Talk about stressful moments.
