Extend Your Cell Reception And Reduce Dropped Calls

This cell phone signal extender apparently can take care of my cell issues around the house. Tell me if you have this similar problem. I live on a few backroads, so whenever I attempt to use my cell phone I find myself walking around the house, the front porch, the back deck, my driveway, then the back yard trying to get at least one bar on my phone before I finally say forget it. And I always do the same thing, holding the phone up in the air, looking like a moron waiting for the “cell angel” to come out of the sky and connect my call. And if I do see a bar of signal, I press send only to have the call lost in midsentence. By the way, that is more annoying than not getting a signal at all.

It looks like it is very easy to install, and takes the cell signal and boosts the waves across a 2500 square foot radius, generally enough to fill the entire house with service. Ideally, you would want to centrally locate this in your home, but it has to be where you get at least one bar of signal. Here is the only probelm I may have with it. How can I put it in a spot where I have a hard time getting a signal in the first place? I already look like a buffoon roaming around with a cell phone in the air, I don’t want to carry this over my head, too. I understand why, it’s just one of those things that are meant to help out a majority of the population, except me.

Now don’t go feeling all sad for me, I am not looking for pity. I will continue living my life without cell service at my house, although I will always give it a try. But if you are in a spot where some of your rooms don’t get a signal, but would sure be convenient if they did, then this is probably your best answer. I will just have to get a brace to hold my arm up in the air without effort. I think I am giving a new meaning to the word “roaming service”.
