Funny Golf Gift To Escape The Rough
I am always a fan of multi-use gadgets. The Leatherman All-in-one tool, for example, has gotten me out of many jams in my life. And when it comes to sports, just look at the ESPN Ultimate Remote and you will find the best multi-purpose gadget around. However, some are just plain funny. For instance, here is a very interesting sporting good that any golfer would get a kick out of, especially those who tend to spend more time in the rough than the fairways. The Big Daddy Driver is built to tee off, but also carries with it a little twist. It actually has a built-in weed whacker to eliminate the thick patch of grass your ball often lands in agaisnt your will, giving you a clean shot at your ball. Now, before you go trying this at the country club, think of how embarrasing it would be to be escorted off the course for trimming up their nicely manicured golf course. Country clubs tend to frown upon third party landscapers. I mean, I have been in trouble for not fixing my divots, imagine clearing a four or five inch section of grass. I know it is meant as a gag gift, and if you look at the website they clearly promote their “joke”, although they do say it is made for recreational use. I can only imagine how many golfers are carrying one of these in their bags today. I cannot speak for how the weed whacker works, nor can I attest to the driving capabilities of the driver, but I can tell you that with Father’s Day already long gone and golf season in full swing, this club is the oddest golfing gadget I have ever seen.
