“Lights Up, Captain!”
This is a great light switch to make your home more futuristic. Control the brightness of your living room lights with the Star Trek Voice Activated Light Switch & Dimmer. It allows you to increase or decrease the brightness of the room by simply saying “Increase light!” How cool is that? And even though I was more of a Star Wars fan, and made fun of the Trekkie kids in high school, I still say this is a pretty neat little device that is sure to brighten up any room. Simply plug your lamp into the switch and you are good to go. When you call out the order, you get a cool response from the Federation Computer confirming your request. It also emits a little light in the evening hours, functioning as a night light in case you still are afraid of the dark.
You will most likely end up burning out a few bulbs by just having some fun with this one, especially if you and your friends are big Star Trek fans and like to have a few drinks. Pretend you are on the USS Enterprise as Captain Kirk, and never get left in the dark.
