Rain Drop Speaker Lets Tunes Fall in the Shower

Well, if you have been reading this site for a while you may have picked up on my desire to sing in the shower. I have talked about mp3 players that can play underwater, as well as speakers that float in the pool, but my biggest complaint with both of these great gadgets is that they are not really too shower-compatible. And I am one who really enjoys hitting some high notes into a bar of soap under my oversized shower head. I think there must be more people out there like me (scary thought, I know), and thus have created the Waterproof Zumreed Rain Drop Speak, which is great for hanging up in the shower stall. They are available in three optional colors: orange, blue or white; so keeping in line with your bathroom decor will be nice and easy. It is powered by four AA batteries, so you don’t even have to worry about a plugged-in cord causing electrical shock. Trust me, nothing takes the fun out of a shower performance like a few thousand volts of electricity.
As much as I will have to put one of these up to get back in the swing of my cleansing concerts, my concern is that this particular version of the waterproof speaker actually brings your mp3 player into the shower. Yes, you enclose it inside the speaker by unscrewing the rain drop like structure, but just the idea of getting my favorite audio player wet scares me. What if there is a crack? What if it slips off the showerhead, smashes on the shower floor, and there washes away all of my tunes down the drain? Or even worse, what if my clumsy hands accidentally drop it in the shower stream trying to put it into the speaker capsule?
My mother always said I was a worry wort, so I will try to be as optimistic as possible. It is waterproof, I can bring it into the shower, it works with virtually any mp3 player, and I should just be happy with that. It will keep me singing (by the way, did I mention I am very off key most of the time?) and clean at the same time, and that is all I can really expect out of something like this. I will have to keep an eye open, however, because I am sure someone out there offers one that wirelessly transmits, so I can leave my precious iPod on the bathroom counter.
Your blog is interesting!
Keep up the good work!
