PS3 Bluetooth Headset

OK, all you hard core PS3 gamers out there. With the new games that are out on the market requiring headsets to live all of the action, a new Bluetooth earpiece is being released that is so much better than the traditional headsets. Most notably used for games such as SOCOM, you can get into the gaming world by talking with other on-line gamers and using voice-activated commands. Of course, in years past you had to don clunky ear phones with a microphone bar attached, sticking out in your face. So Sony has gotten wise and is using the same Bluetooth technology for cell phones and bringing it to the home video game system.
This headset just fits in one ear, making it noticeably more comfortable. And with it, you get a High Quality Mode that offers noise cancellation to ensure your voice commands are heard clearly. You also get an in-game status display, showing your connectivity, battery meter and speaker level. Finally, you can dock the headset to charge and still use it as a microphone so you don’t have to take a break in the action.
Now I used to be a video gamer, way back when Mario was born, but being a dad takes away my gaming time. Besides, the kids have it most of the day anyway. But it is nice to see that technology used in everyday communication has finally making its way to the video game systems. And it not only provides comfort, but also integrates a variety of technological advances for multiple purposes. And that’s important in ensuring our children of today will grow up with the times.
